Toronto, Ontario, February 24, 2026 – Curious Public is proud to announce a partnership with Hockey 4 Youth Foundation to help tell its story of getting young newcomers to Canada on the ice and playing hockey. The partnership is supported by Curious Public’s UPLIFT program – an annual pro bono marketing and communications services program.
Through the partnership, Curious Public will work with Hockey 4 Youth to better support its strategic goals and fundraising mission. The foundation will also be the first UPLIFT recipient to get a customized fundraising merchandise strategy.
“We are at an intersectional moment in our history where people are falling in love with what we do, but we need to reach our full potential to meet the demand. Curious Public’s expertise will yield the tangible results we need to make our mission sustainable for years to come.”
“Hockey is a central part of the Canadian identity, yet it remains cost-prohibitive for the families who are often most eager to join the community. While 71% of newcomers express an interest in the game, only 1% will ever have the opportunity to play,” said Moezine Hasham, Founder and Executive Director of Hockey 4 Youth Foundation. “We are at an intersectional moment in our history where people are falling in love with what we do, but we need to reach our full potential to meet the demand. Curious Public’s expertise will yield the tangible results we need to make our mission sustainable for years to come.”
Hockey 4 Youth has been increasing social inclusion for newcomers and high-priority youth since 2015. The foundation currently offers 14 programs in 10 cities across Canada in: Victoria, Sooke, Langley, Vernon, Prince George, Windsor, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal (Dollard Des Ormeaux and Ville Saint-Laurent). To date, Hockey 4 Youth has worked with 2,000 kids and teens representing 44 countries of origin.
“Our national game is more than just a national symbol, it’s a rite of passage. Hockey 4 Youth is not just providing that gateway to the Canadian experience for newcomers, it’s building the future of the game we love.”
