Our next great panelist, Sarah Petrevan is Vice President of Sustainability for the Cement Association of Canada and comes to our next episode of Comms In Question versed in a deep knowledge of climate mitigation policy with expertise in industrial decarbonization and the recipient of the 2018 Clean 50 Emerging Leader Award.

As a spokesperson, public speaker, and advocate for policy change, Sarah knows how important transparent reporting on sustainability practices is for corporate strategy and investor decision-making. So we’re excited to hear what she has to say about the new global reporting standards that are changing the way companies talk about sustainability and what that means for communications and marketing professionals.

Aaron Freeman is one of Canada’s leaders in environmental policy and advocacy, and is an accomplished author and educator on public governance. Not to mention, a recipient of the Canada Clean50 award for his work as a Sustainability Champion.

He is the owner of Pivot Strategic Consulting Inc. which helps companies, NGOs, Indigenous organizations, and foundations develop their capacity to solve environmental problems through public policy. Aaron is also the founder of GreenPAC which is a Canadian non-partisan organization that builds environmental leadership in politics.
