Graduation year is supposed to be a capstone year for students. It’s the end of the biggest chapter in your life so far, filled with anticipation about what comes next.
But for the graduating class of 2021, this June is going to be different. They’ve already had a rough year. On again off again school, rotating lockdowns, and all kinds of chaos have made this year tougher than most. And to top it off, they’ll probably watch their friends graduate from behind a screen without the kind of sendoff they deserve.
Our team at LRC thinks that’s a bummer. So we decided to do something about it.
LRC is excited to announce our “Words that Get People Travelling” contest to win a $1,000 Air Canada gift card. Any student graduating Grade 12 in Canada this month can enter.
All you have to do is send us a 30-60 second video answering this question: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
We’ll post our favourite videos on our social media channels, and the winner get the graduation sendoff they deserve: A $1,000 Air Canada gift card to help pay for a trip they’ll remember the rest of their lives.
