Last year, our James Bullbrook Memorial Scholarshi Last year, our James Bullbrook Memorial Scholarship sent Charlotte to Woodward Camp. She found a community where everyone, from pro coaches to beginner athletes, and seasoned staff, cheers for your success.

"It’s not like other sports. Everyone just wants to see you land it." - Charlotte

Her mom has always been her cheerleader and that connection through skateboarding is the spirit behind this scholarship.

Wonder what it’d be like to skate at Woodward? Read about Charlotte’s experience at the link in bio.

We're offering a $500 USD scholarship to Woodward Skateboarding Camp this summer.

The scholarship honours the memory of James Bullbrook, a beloved colleague, friend, and father, by supporting skateboarding families who travel together to help a young skater pursue their passion—just like James did each summer with his son, Richie. @richiebullbrook

“We’ve met three incredible families so far thanks to James’s memory and I see what he saw thanks to meeting Zoe, Blake, and Charlotte: the skateboarding community is one of the most accepting, supportive, creative, and determined groups out there,” said Lloyd Rang, President and Narrative Lead for Curious Public.

🗓️If you’re a passionate, Canadian skateboarder between ages 7-17, apply before April 30, 2026.

“Pull down your pants and slide on the ice.” 🧊👖 I “Pull down your pants and slide on the ice.” 🧊👖

It’s a quote from M*A*S*H, but honestly? It’s basically our mantra for 2026.
When things feel out of control (and let’s be real, they have for a while), our brain tries to trick us. It tells us to pause. To wait. To hold off on making decisions until things go back to "normal."

But psychology tells us that action, even imperfect action, is better for our anxiety than waiting.

@lloydrang reflects on how communicators can help leaders stop bracing for disaster and start navigating through it in our latest blog post.

He looks at why we are more adaptable than we give ourselves credit for and how brands like Nintendo and Airbnb thrived by leaning into the uncertainty.
